The Fusion AC/DC is a powerful AC/DC Inverter, equally at home, in the workshop or on site. Housed in the now famous Inverter Fusion toughened Nylon Case, the unit only weighs 9.0Kg. Set up of the unit is easily and safely achieved by the use of the new single control knob, which is turned to select and pressed to confirm each setting.  By use of the LEDs and 3 digit-display the settings can be accurately set and reproduced.  The unit is for universal use on high and low alloyed steels as well as aluminium and its alloys.

Power factor Correction:   This circuit increases the power factor from 0.71 to 0.99. This reduces the power draw from the mains or generator supply allowing for the high output to be achieved with only a 16A fuse.

Generator friendly:   The unit is designed to run with an Asynchronous 8KVA generator. The system continuously monitors the supply voltage and will cut out the machine if the supply voltage fluctuations are outside the pre-described limits.

Thermal Protection:  The fusion 210 AC/CD has a thermal sensor situated on the power semiconductors to accurately monitor the operating temperature.

General Protection:   All power semiconductors are potted in a single module for maximum protection, all other electronic components are treated with a protective lacquer ensuring the electronics are completely protected against moisture and dirt.

Electronic Ignition Control: This circuit collects the operator settings data from the processor and automatically adjusts the initial ignition settings, to provide the optimum start every time for both TIG and MMA resulting in a clean electrode and work piece.

Future proof control:  Use of a software controlled microprocessor enables future application developments to be retrofitted by means of software updates.

Noise reduction:   During the welding of Aluminium the noise is significantly reduced by means of this newly developed circuit.
